Enjoy a Meal at Chili’s and Help Feed the Hungry!

Like we needed another reason to love Chili’s® Grill and Bar –  from June 16-19, all Chili’s locations in New Mexico will donate 15% of their net sales to Roadrunner Food Bank as part of their Chili’s Give Back Days for Hunger.  You can enjoy sizzling fajitas and a sweet dessert knowing that you’re indulging for a good cause!

It’s easy to participate – all you have to do is show up and bring your appetite.  Be sure to mention that you are there as part of Chili’s Give Back Days for Hunger.  You can either bring in THIS FLIER or mention the Food Bank to your server – the restaurants will take care of the rest.  You’ll leave with a full stomach and a light heart.

I’m thankful that partners like Chili’s are stepping up to help us solve hunger in New Mexico.  Among other states in the nation, New Mexico is tied as the fourth worst for overall hunger.  Even more troubling, for the second consecutive year, our state is ranked FIRST in the number of children who are going hungry. These aren’t numbers I’m proud of, and we can do better.

To change these statistics, more people need to get involved and take action. What may seem like a small gesture is actually a simple way to make a big difference.  Participating in Chili’s Give Back Days for Hunger is a great way to get started helping others.  The money received by Roadrunner Food Bank and other food banks in the state will feed thousands of people in our local communities right away.  For every $1 donated, the Food Bank can distribute FIVE meals to feed the hungry.

Have a fun dining experience at Chili’s with friends and family anytime Monday, June 16 – Thursday, June 19!  I encourage you to share this event with as many people as you can.  Post it to your Facebook page, retweet it on Twitter, e-mail your friends and family and invite your coworkers. The more people show up, the more people we can help feed!

In case you needed more reasons to dine at Chili’s… here’s further motivation!
