Fight Hunger. Spark Change.
Food insecurity is an issue facing families in communities across the country and food banks are experiencing more demand than ever. Walmart, Sam’s Club, Feeding America and member food banks like Roadrunner Food Bank are committed to providing meals to people in need. From March 26 – May 11, you can take part in the seventh annual nationwide “Fight Hunger. Spark Change.” There are two ways to get involved:
- Make a donation online as part of the campaign FeedingAmerica.org/Walmart or www.FeedingAmerica.org/SamsClub, or directly to Roadrunner Food Bank here.
- Round up your total at the register!
It’s been an important effort every year, but given the increased need associated with the COVID-19 pandemic and increased unemployment across the country, we urge to you to participate. To kickstart the campaign, Walmart donated $3 million, in addition to the $5 million from the Walmart Foundation for COVID-19 response, to Feeding America and member food banks. This year, through May 30th, shoppers are given the option to round up their total to make a donation to the food bank!
