Roadrunner Food Bank’s gift card program supports hunger relief in New Mexico

In the spirit of holiday sharing, Roadrunner Food Bank invites you to honor your friends, colleagues, clients and family members with a gift of food and hope to hungry children and adults in our community. By sending a donation to the food bank along with a list of names and addresses, Roadrunner will hand address and send to each recipient on your list a high quality, full color card picturing an original scene and note from the child that won our Gift Card Contest. (see examples)

Gift giving was never so easy, or so meaningful. Monies raised through Roadrunner Food Bank’s gift card program will fight a quiet but devastating foe in our community – hunger. One out of six New Mexicans cannot manage to put food on the table every day. These New Mexicans are largely children, the elderly, and the working poor. Since each dollar donated to Roadrunner Food Bank returns $11 worth of food to the community, using this gift card as part of your holiday giving will help give our hungry neighbors a place at the holiday table.
