How to Get Involved
Roadrunner Food Bank impacts the lives of nearly 40,000 New Mexicans every week who don’t have the resources to have enough food to eat. In fact, our non-profit organization distributes nearly 23 million pounds of food every year to children, adults and vulnerable seniors in New Mexico.
There are many ways to help our non-profit organization meet the growing need for food assistance in our state, including:
Asking about volunteer opportunities. Roadrunner Food Bank is always looking for volunteers to help. No matter what walk of life you are in, we welcome people who are interested in volunteer opportunities with us. You will help us sort food, repack bulk items, box food, provide administrative support and much more
Setting up an online food drive or food drive. Your business or organization has the opportunity to make an online food drive donation or participate in a food drive. As soon as you decide that your organization is interested in hosting an online fundraiser, contact us for information. We’ll track your results and keep you updated with the latest information!
Organizing a charity event. Organizing a charity event to benefit Roadrunner Food Bank helps us provide additional meals in the community because of your efforts. We’ll provide you the necessary information to use our name in conjunction with your event and walk you through the process to make it as simple as possible.
Joining the Roadrunner Club. By joining the Roadrunner Food Club, you’ll be able to give recurring gifts automatically every month as an online donation. Doing so allows us to plan ahead and budget for the future. It’s easy and quick to sign up online.
No matter how you choose to help, any type of online donation to our non-profit organization helps. Without help, we wouldn’t be able to serve the people of New Mexico with our food assistance programs. Contact us today for volunteer opportunities or for more information on how you can help.
