Holiday Food & Fund Drive

October, November and December

The greatest gift we can provide to hungry and vulnerable people is food. Get in the holiday spirit by hosting a Food and Fund Drive for us! Anyone can take on this easy project to help us provide food to nearly 40,000 hungry New Mexicans this winter.

FOOD DRIVES
Businesses, faith communities, schools, service organizations and individuals are encouraged to host food and fund drives during the holiday season. The winter months are critical in ensuring we have the necessary food during the cold winter months.

You can use Roadrunner Food Bank collection barrels during your food drive. We can drop barrels at your location before the start of your food drive and pick them up once the barrels are full. Plus, we will help you keep track of the pounds and any money your group donates. We provide you a packet filled with information such as tips to host a successful food drive, fliers listing our needs and a collection envelope for donations of cash or checks.

ONLINE FOOD DRIVES
Imagine participating in a food drive right from your computer! An Online Food Drive alleviates the need for barrels, scheduling drop off and pick ups, and reminding participants to bring actual food. With an Online Food Drive the ease of participating is simple and quick by making a gift in just a few minutes.

To schedule an Online Food Drive, contact us to sign up. All you have to provide is the names of your team, department, or division before the start of your Online Food Drive. We will add your group names to our web based donation form and provide a giving link to send out to potential participants. Then you are ready to promote it!

As part of your Online Food Drive, we will report back regularly on your team totals. Plus, we will provide a helpful brochure with tips on hosting an Online Food Drive.
