Make A Difference Day
Make a Difference Day is hosted by The City of Albuquerque. It is a city-wide event encouraging our community to give back by volunteering during a national day of service. As a local non-profit we participate by hosting a volunteer event at the Food Bank where hundreds of volunteers can help us sort food, repack bulk items into smaller quantities and/or fill food boxes.
Make a Difference Day is usually held toward the end of October. The 2011 event will be held at the Food Bank on Friday and Saturday, October 21 and 22.
