Hunger Action Month Begins Next Week!

Did you know that in New Mexico, 1 in 3 children still don’t know where their next meal will come from? Even accounting for adults, families, and seniors, 1 in 5 people across our state still don’t have regular, healthy access to nutritious food.

Fortunately, we at Roadrunner Food Bank are partnering with Feeding America to take a stance on raising awareness about hunger and how we can solve it this September with Hunger Action Month!

You can help us raise hunger awareness & help us solve hunger in  New Mexico by:

  • Volunteering in Our Warehouse or At One of Our Mobile Food Pantries;
  • Picking Up One of Our Orange Spoons, Taking A Selfie with an Orange Spoon on Nose, & Tagging on Social Media with #HungerActionMonth, #Spoontember;
  • Taking part on Hunger Action Day on September 3rd;
  • Staying tuned as we share community events coming up at I Scream Ice Cream! and the Lobo Food Pantry in Albuquerque;

And More!
