Feeding Hungry Veterans in New Mexico
People in New Mexico are in need of hunger relief every day. High unemployment and underemployment are leavingmany adults unable to put food on the table for their loved ones. This is the situation for many of our armed forces veterans. Many veterans are finding lack of employment or underemployment when returning home from their service to our country. Our New Mexico Food Bank is helping veterans be able to support their families by providing them access to food through our network of hundreds of partner agencies across the state, our Mobile Food Pantry and through other food assistance programs.
How You Can Help Our Veterans
Each week, Roadrunner Food Bank provides food assistance and hunger relief to 40,000 people all over the state. A portion of the population and clients we help are veterans. If you are thinking about making a donation to a charity that benefits veterans, please consider giving a gift to Roadrunner Food Bank through:
A one-time donation
One-time donations of just $1 can provide five meals for veterans that need our help with food. You can donate through our website or by stopping in and visiting our Las Cruces or Albuquerque locations.
The Roadrunner Club
Join our Roadrunner Club by donating $10 or more every month. Our charity can use this money to help veterans receive the food they need. Donating $50 a month through the Roadrunner Club allows us to distribute 250 meals to veterans in need.
Our veterans who have honorably served deserve to have a meal to eat. Please contact us today if you are interested in donating food, money or time to Roadrunner Food Bank so we can continue our support of the men and women who have served our country.
