Hunters Helping the Hungry!

Are you a hunter who is looking forward to deer, elk, or other game seasons ahead? What if we told you that not only can you enjoy the rewards of your hunting season, but that you can also help us at Roadrunner feed more hungry New Mexicans?

This fall, this #HungerActionMonth, we at Roadrunner are excited to announce our collaboration with the New Mexico Department of Game & Fish, regional meat processors, and hunters statewide our “Hunters Helping the Hungry” program!

Starting this fall, we welcome both meat and monetary donations to support the process of rescuing and sourcing more local and healthier sources of meat, sources of protein for our hungry neighbors!

All you have to do is visit the Hunters Helping the Hungry website here, follow our recommendations for dressing and delivery of meat to your local participating meat processor. From there, our participating processors and we will handle the cleaning, certification of meat quality, and distribution of game meat to share with the +500 partner agencies and +70,000 people we serve each week statewide.

Thank you all and special thanks to New Mexico Department of Game & Fish for helping us with outreach today at the New Mexico State Fair in Albuquerque! Together, we can responsibly manage our natural resources and wildlife populations AND feed more of our hungry neighbors!
