The 2017 SEED Conference is all about bringing New Mexico hunger relief leaders together to SEED – Succeed, Engage, Educate, and Develop.


A block of rooms has been reserved for the SEED Conference at a reduced rate of $109 USD. Deadline to book at the discounted rate is Wednesday, August 23. Rooms may still be available after this date, but not at the discounted rate.

IF YOU PREFER TO STAY OFFSITE – we have compiled at list of other nearby hotel options. 


Anyone staying at the Hyatt Regency will receive complimentary parking (regularly costs $16 a day). Those not staying at the Hyatt will receive a sharply discounted rate of $5 per day. Some of the wonderful speakers we will be welcoming are Bill Jordan from New Mexico Voices for Children, Lorenzo Alba from Casa de Peregrinos, Mark Green from Harvest Ministries, Laura Perea from NM Food and Nutrition Services, Kristen Hsueh from the New Mexico Commission for Community Volunteerism, and Sovereign Hager from the New Mexico Center on Law and Poverty to name a few…

Panels from Roadrunner’s Operations and Community Initiatives Departments will present on the Food Bank’s direction, and there will be time for Childhood Hunger Initiative schools to meet together, as well as Food Rescue agencies.

Attendees will also have a last opportunity to hear from Melody Wattenbarger, the President and CEO of Roadrunner Food Bank. Melody has led the Food Bank for the past 22 years, and will be retiring at the end of 2017.
