Civil Rights Training 2016/2017
The Food and Nutrition Services (FANS) Bureau of the New Mexico Human Services Department requires that all partners who distribute TEFAP foods must have at least one member of its staff complete and pass the Civil Rights Training Course once per fiscal year.
Many of you may recall doing the training and quiz last year; it is a requirement that TEFAP partners complete the new training every year. There have been some changes to the training PowerPoint and additional questions have been included – you are required to get 10 out of 14 questions correct to pass. We understand that this training is an extra step and we greatly appreciate your cooperation.
All TEFAP partners must have at least one authorized shopper complete the Civil Rights Training course and quiz no later than Friday, June 17th, 2015. TEFAP partners who do not have a member of its staff complete the course by June 17th will have their ability to order TEFAP Foods disabled until the course is completed.
