Quilt Benefits the Food Bank

LAST CHANCE TICKETS!
This week (Dec. 3rd) is the last opportunity to purchase tickets for a chance to win the quilt.  ONLINE tickets are no longer available, however, you can still purchase tickets IN PERSON at the Food Bank until Friday, Dec. 7th at 4 pm when our lobby closes.  KOB TV’s Heather Mills will pull the winning ticket at 10 am on Sat., Dec. 8th.  Come back to our website to find out who won.

This is the second year Lynne Pfeffer has created a colorful quilt for the Food Bank. Last year’s quilt raised several thousand dollars for the Food Bank, one dollar at a time.

This second quilt is 55″ x 67″ and is designed from the Snibbles pattern from Maple Island Quilts, Inc (www.mapleislandquilts.com).  With help from friends, Elizabeth Dawson and Mary-Jo McCarthy, this exquisite quilt will help raise important funds in support of the Food Bank’s work in feeding the hungry.

Special thanks to Elizabeth Dawson (www.elizabethanne.cc) who generously donated her quilting services and to Mary-Jo McCarthy of Southwest Decoratives (www.swdecoratives.com) who provided the batting.

Tickets will be sold until Friday, December 7th and are $1 per ticket. Online ticket sales are now closed, however you can still purchase a ticket until 12/7 in person at the Food Bank or by calling 505.349.8674.
