You can help Stamp Out Hunger on Saturday, May 11!

Hosted by The National Association of Letter Carriers and the United States Postal Service, the largest national food drive (Stamp Out Hunger) occurs annually on the second Saturday in May. This year that’s Saturday, May 11, so remember to leave non-perishable food items at your mailbox for letter carriers to collect! In Albuquerque, keep your eye out for the blue bag to be delivered right to you with your mail the week of the food drive. No blue bag? Any bag or box will work!

In Albuquerque, food collected through Stamp Out Hunger benefits Roadrunner Food Bank. We are so grateful to our local letter carrier’s union for going above and beyond to help feed our neighbors in need. We can’t run this event without their participation, and we need you too!

You can volunteer to sort food donations at 11 Albuquerque post offices and see firsthand the generosity of our neighbors. Click here to choose your location and shift.

In addition to non-perishable food items, you are also welcome to donate funds. Every dollar donated to Roadrunner Food Bank helps us distribute up to five meals to New Mexicans experiencing hunger.

We thank you for all the ways you choose to support this event!
