White Bean Chili

This recipe can be made primarily with canned food items, meat and other protein sources like sour cream. Serves 4-6 and can be made in 30-40 minutes or so.

 ½ White Beans, rinsed and drained
 ¼ Cream of Chicken Soup
 ½ cup Cooked Chicken or Turkey
  cup Low Fat Milk
 ¼ 4 ounce can Chopped Green Chili
 ¼ tbsp Chopped Cilantro
 ¼ tbsp Dried Minced Onion
 ¼ tsp Garlic Powder
 ¼ tsp Dried Oregano
 ¼ tsp Cumin
 1 ½ tbsp Sour Cream (optional as garnish)

In a large saucepan, combine the first 10 ingredients and bring to a boil. Stir occasionally.

Reduce heat and summer, covered from 25-30 minutes or until heated through.

Top each serving with sour cream.

Nutritional Guide includes sour cream in the recipe with one tbsp of Sour Cream. If using without sour cream, total fat is 5 grams. To reduce sodium, use low-sodium Cream of Chicken Soup which reduces sodium to 510 mg. Recipe adapted from Taste of Home
