If you are interested in becoming a Roadrunner® Food Bank affiliated hunger relief member partner, there is a formal application and vetting process. Our member network is made up of hundreds of food distributions sites throughout New Mexico. These locations are based in communities around the state provide food to people struggling with hunger. These organizations vary, but typically include:
- Food pantries
- Mobile food pantry sites
- Soup kitchens
- Group homes
- Shelters
- Senior sites
- Schools
- Healthcare clinics
Starting the Process to Become a Member Partner
To start the process, please complete this questionnaire regarding your needs and intentions. Once the form is submitted, our staff will review it and get back to you within a few weeks. Please note, this is not the official application or agreement of partnership. It simply helps us understand your current food assistance program or your intentions to start one. Each site also adheres to food safety guidelines, monitoring, reporting, and numerous other activities to serve New Mexicans experiencing hunger.
Getting Help for Your Constituents
In the meantime, if you need to direct your constituents to food assistance, below is a list that provides information about our distribution sites. These are sites who receive regular deliveries of food from the food bank and feed the hungry year-round.
- Get Help in Your Area – This online Food Finder tool helps individuals locate food distribution sites in their zip code near them.
- We Help People Apply for Public Benefits – We can help families apply for benefits like SNAP (food stamps). A team of staff and volunteers are trained to help people apply for SNAP, LIHEAP and other benefits based on their income.
- Food Assistance Line – Call during business hours to receive a list of sites we supply food to in your zip code. Dial 505.349.5340.

Seeking Partnership
Roadrunner Food Bank is intentional in partnerships and programming. In order to serve neighbors who are typically underrepresented or underserved, organizations from the locale or priority population listed below will be considered for partnership.

Spring 2024: Update on Partnership Requests
Your request to partner with Roadrunner Food Bank is important! We are eager to learn about your organization and your interest in serving your immediate community with food assistance services.
We hope you understand that our team is currently undergoing a restructuring. It means we are temporarily pausing onboarding or committing new organizations to our statewide hunger-relief network — except in extenuating or unusual circumstances.
This temporary pause will be in effect until after July 1, 2024, to give us time to design an effective and comprehensive process to best partner with you, your organization, and the community that benefits from your services. However, please continue to complete the interest form below in case we need to consider any unusual circumstances occurring in your community right now.
In the meantime, if you need to direct people to food help in or near your community, use our Food Finder tool at www.rrfb.org/find-food and enter a zip code in the field near the map. Expand your search area for rural communities, click on each location for details, and be sure to call each location before visiting.
