Roadrunner® Food Bank of New Mexico is here to help. As the New Mexico’s largest food bank, Roadrunner Food Bank serves as a distribution center to provide food to over 500 partner agencies across the state some of which includes food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, schools, senior sites, and even healthcare locations.

Our food assistance line is staffed during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. When you call, please be prepared to provide your zip code. Our team provides contact information to food distribution partners in your area, please have a piece of paper and pen ready when you call.

One Time or Temporary Food Distributions – Albuquerque

July 31 from 8 am to 10 am

  • Del Norte High School located at 5323 Montgomery Blvd NE. We anticipate serving up to 50 families each month.

2nd Thursday monthly through Sept. (August 8, Sept. 12) from 9 am to 11 am

  • Bernalillo County Extension Office located at 1510 Menaul Blvd NW, Extension NW (at the new traffic round about). We anticipate serving up to 50 families each month.

3rd Thursday monthly through Sept. (August 15, Sept. 19) from 8 am to 10 am

  • Tower Pond Park located at 8436 Tower Rd SW. We anticipate serving up to 50 families each month.

One Time or Temporary Food Distributions – Southern NM

Las Cruces, NM: Saturday, August 3 from 8 am until the food runs out

  • Las Cruces First located at 5605 Bataan Memorial West in Las Cruces.  Food distribution is drive-through.

Lordsburg, NM: Saturday, August 10 from 8 am until 12 pm

  • Lordsburg High School located at 501 W 4th St. in Lordsburg.  Food distribution is drive through.

Animas, NM: Saturday, August 10 from 2 pm to 5 pm

  • 21 Roll Rd. in Animas, NM.  Food distribution is drive-through.

Columbus, NM: Saturday, August 15 from 6 pm to 8 pm

  • 261 Broadway – The Columbus Plaza.  Food distribution is drive-through.

Tips About Food Assistance

  • After you receive contact information for one or more locations, please be sure to call each agency before visiting the location.
  • Confirm the dates and times of the food distribution.
  • Be prepared to bring a photo ID and/or documentation confirming your zip code.
  • Bring bags or boxes to place any food items in. Our agencies may not have boxes or bags to place food in.
  • Arrange transportation, unfortunately agencies do not have enough volunteers or staff to deliver food to your home.
  • Seniors, people with disabilities, medically fragile, and Medicaid recipients may qualify for a reduced fare or no cost transportation. Please visit one of the following for more information:
