FOOD AND FUND DRIVE

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Roadrunner® Food Bank relies on food and fund donations from generous individuals and groups to help us fulfill our mission of ending hunger in New Mexico. One of the best ways you can help is by hosting a food and fund drive for Roadrunner Food Bank. Food and fund drives can be held at any time during the year — we’ll work with your group to find the right dates.

Food Drives

Food drives can be held at your place of employment, faith community, school, or organization to collect food to donate to Roadrunner Food Bank. We encourage you to involve friends, family, and colleagues too Involving others helps educate our community about what we do to solve hunger in our state.

Tips to consider:

  • Collect non-perishable food only (items that do not require refrigeration).
  • Transportation is a significant cost to us, our fleet must remain focused on delivering food to distribution points across the state. Please contact us in advance to arrange a time to deliver the food to Roadrunner Food Bank
  • Schedule a date and time for your group to tour the food bank or invite us to give a presentation to your group.
  • Please do not collect any homemade food items or any foods without ingredient labels. We follow strict food safety guidelines and procedures which do not allow us to distribute food without labels or ingredient information.

How to get started:

  1. Complete the form “Sign Up to Host a Food and Fund Drive”
