September is Hunger Action Month!

Roadrunner Food Bank joins Feeding America and other food banks across the country during Hunger Action Month. We are urging individuals to mobilize and act in our community. Be a part of helping your neighbors experiencing food insecurity by taking action during this national hunger awareness month. As individuals, charities, businesses and government, we all have a role to play in getting food to help our hungry neighbors.

Food shouldn’t be an impossible choice! The only way we can help alleviate hunger is by taking action together. We’ll be asking you to join us in this national movement all throughout the month of September!

One exciting way that you can help out is by making a financial gift that will have twice the impact! The Abram and Ray Kaplan Foundation will match contributions from our supporters this September during Hunger Action Month. Your gift will be doubled dollar for dollar up to $25,000. Any contribution raised from our supporters over the $25,000 match will trigger another $25,000 gift. The total potential support from the foundation for this matching gift campaign is $50,000. Gifts received after the campaign or in excess of this amount will not be matched but will help provide food and groceries to people we serve.
