IN-KIND DONATIONS
This unique support is typically non-cash donations that can include services, supplies, other goods, and even property. Learn more about the types of in-kind donations we seek, and be sure to talk with our staff in advance of your donation so we can understand your gift intentions.
In-kind donations to RoadrunnerⓇ Food Bank are gifts of tangible goods or services that help extend our mission and further our ability to feed people experiencing hunger across the state of New Mexico. Each year, many businesses and organizations generously provide different types of in-kind contributions.
These donations help us to:
- Feed every hungry person today
- Seed partnerships that build self-sufficiency for tomorrow
- Lead to achieve our vision of permanently ending hunger in New Mexico
Tangible Donations
Tangible items vary from food to items that help us better store and distribute food. Tangible items that have been donated to Roadrunner Food Bank have included:
- Food
- Pallet racking
- Family sized and commercial sized refrigerators and freezers for our statewide member network
- New computer equipment
- Vehicles including box trucks, tractors, and trailers to haul food across the state
- Packaging materials including boxes, plastic wrap, gaylord boxes, watermelon bins, large quantities of packing bins for gleaning activities and more
- Furniture
- Equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, riding jacks, electric pallet and riding jacks, scissor lifts, and maintenance tools
Service Donations
Services are also a type of in-kind donation that we rely on. As a non-profit, these services help us reduce our expenses and support the brand of Roadrunner Food Bank. Services donated to us have included:
- Printing
- Electrical or plumbing services
- Graphic design
- Advertising
- Legal services
- Landscaping
